symmetry- math

symmetry is a simple math subject, there are two types of symmetry, I will start with lines of symmetry. It is 2-d shapes that are folded in half and both sides are the  same like if it is a square you can fold it into 8 parts that look the same!
You can do thins with lots of shapes, but not all, an irregular shape is mostly non symmetrical.

The second type of symmetry is rotational symmetry, it is a shape that when you turn it in a way that is not all the way, it looks the same as it did before you tuned it.
A circle will look the same no matter how you turn it!

what is your favorite school subject?

I want to know what your favorite subject in school!

I like lot's of subjects that I like,  like french  because we are doing a play, Louie la grenouille, I am la fille grenouille and I become Louie's friend at the end of the story!

I want to know if you like french, or math, or art etc...

what is multiplication?

multiplication:
multiplication is a part of math.

You might see or use multiplication:
-to decorate a house,to decorate a house you need to know the area and perimeter to buy the right size of furniture,the fast way to find the area is to use multiplication!
-you might need to use multiplication for shopping,to see how much money something is if you need more then one of that product!
-you need to know multiplication if you work at a store ,to finish the persons stuff faster instead of doing it one at a time,you can use  multiplication to speed things up
-and much much more!
These ideas came from my class!
